Helping immigrants navigate today's challenges
As immigration policies continue to shift and enforcement actions create uncertainty for many families, trusted legal representation has never been more important. Opening Doors' Immigration Legal Services Program provides free immigration legal services throughout the greater Sacramento region, helping individuals and families understand their rights and pursue pathways to safety, stability, and legal status.
Our team provides representation for naturalization (citizenship), DACA, green cards, humanitarian relief, and immigration court—including for many people seeking asylum.
DOJ-Accredited Representatives
Opening Doors’ immigration legal services are provided by licensed attorneys and Department of Justice (DOJ)-accredited representatives—trained, non-attorney professionals authorized to offer immigration legal assistance through recognized nonprofit organizations. Depending on their accreditation, they may represent clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and immigration courts.
Our accredited representatives expand access to affordable, high-quality legal support for immigrants and refugees.
