Prosperity Project

The Prosperity Project helps underserved Sacramento area residents improve their economic situations by starting or expanding small businesses, by taking control of their personal finances, and by better understanding the US financial system.  As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), we have provided over $1,000,000 in micro-loans to local business owners, creating jobs and strengthening our local economy.

Small Business Assistance

We provide individual assistance, training, and microloans to business owners as well as entrepreneurs who are starting businesses. Our multicultural staff is available to assist clients in English, Arabic, French, Russian, and Spanish.

Personal Finances Assistance

MoneyWork$ is an intensive program for those who are ready to take charge of their personal finances.  It provides tools and support for tracking expenses, budgeting, understanding credit reports, examining and changing financial habits, and reaching financial goals.  It is offered in Spanish.

Bank on Sacramento's financial seminars in Spanish provide attendees with information on banking basics, credit, and budgeting.

Business Expos

Opening Doors hosts Business Expos for new business owners who have graduated from our MoneyWork$ program or utilized our microfinance services. The Business Expo helps participants network with other business owners and gain new clients.
