Trinity Lutheran Church Helps Hispanic Prosperity Project Clients

Those who have visited Opening Doors know that our office is filled to the brim with desks, chairs and busy staff, interns and volunteers. When the Prosperity Project offers a workshop in Business Plan writing, or conducts weekly sessions for its MoneyWork$ participants, we have to look outside our walls for a venue large enough for the group to assemble.

We have been blessed with the support of midtown Sacramento’s Trinity Lutheran Church. Longtime Opening Doors ally and former board member, Jack Adolphson, served as the liaison between our agency and the Trinity congregation. Because of the church’s generous support, many of our Hispanic clients have come to know the church’s spacious hall as the place where they’ve learned how to start a catering business, or how to take control over their personal finances. The generosity of the Trinity congregation has made it possible for our clients to advance towards their goals and dreams.

We would like to be able to provide alternative spaces for events in order to accommodate clients in other parts of our community. If your church or organization can assist, please contact us.
